Peter started his media career as a paperboy for the Manchester Evening News. After a spell as a journalist at the Big Issue magazine in Manchester, the English graduate then went on to work in-house at Sunderland AFC as a PR officer.

He returned to Manchester in 2000 to join the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) press office. He was responsible for promoting public transport in the region and the expansion of Metrolink.

In 2001, he joined RMS PR and now represents a range of professional services, property and financial clients. He is also responsible for business development, digital marketing strategy and online PR for clients. Peter is also a member of the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) and an active member of Econsultancy. He is also a fully qualified digital marketer (Cert DigM).

Peter also referees semi-professional football matches and is an assistant referee on the Football League. He is also a Level One FA Licensed Referee Tutor.
