Quackson joins the RMS team
The story so far:
Michael Quackson was the 8th duckling to hatch to the Quackson family and joined the hugely successful Quackson Five – making his debut singing along Canal Street.
He was soon topping the bill at various watering holes across the Manchester City Centre and released a number of classic videos, including Bill-ie Jean and Biller. He also introduced a new dance craze, known as the Duckwalk, appearing to walk backwards without his webbed feet leaving the ground.
However, struggling with the pressures of being the biggest fish in the pond and faced with increasing health problems – he was visiting the quack twice a week – Michael's feathers were well and truly ruffled when he was accused of fowl play with some young ducklings he knew.
Michael tried his luck over the pond but, with his reputation truly tarnished, he returned with a feather-brained idea to try his hand in the PR world.
RMS was the only agency to show some compassion and Michael came home to roost. This is Michael Quackson’s first duck race and we hope some of his old fans turn up to cheer him on. Michael hopes it won’t be roasting on the day of the race: "If it’s really hot I don't know waddle do" he explained. "I am planning to get up at the quack of dawn for a warm up and I just hope my friends at RMS will meet me at the end with a nice cold glass of l’orange squash."
