Great charitable foundation launched
It’s always great to see our clients supporting those in need. But we rarely come across as scheme as generous as the Equilibrium Foundation, set up by Equilibrium Asset Management.
The foundation supports good causes in the North West area, focusing on the needs of the young and elderly.
But it doesn’t just stop there - as part of the new charitable foundation, Equilibrium has pledged that for each £1 donated by clients and staff, the business will match the donation. They have, in fact, laid down the gauntlet to raise £250,000 for charity by the end of 2020 – that is £25,000 each year for the next decade!
Another of our clients, Hurst Accountants is supporting the foundation by generously providing accountancy for the Foundation on a pro bono basis.
The first £10,000 raised will be distributed between The Cre8 Youth and Community programme in Macclesfield and Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury.
Well done guys and we look forward to seeing the fantastic causes the Foundation is going to support over the coming years.
